where is the best place to find a grant to help pay for my dogs surgery that is runing over 2 thousand dollars

You could try asking some businesses in town to sponsor him or ask them if you can set up a donation can with his picture.
That is the only things I can think of. I seen on animal planet a family set up the donation can and then the town helped them with the surgery by sending in donations. So you can leave your address on the can as well. good luck.

HI, with permission from HQ you can ask for donations on Dogster. I have heard that this works best if you have the donations go directly to the vet hospital.

Check into making payments, care credit, relatives who can help, selling an extra car....

You might try talking to some of the local rescue groups in your area. If you can show hardship they may be able to sanction your donation efforts (sponsorship helps validate your need) so you can get the surgery for your pet. The rescue groups will also be able to point you in the direction of a vet willing to take payments or do the surgery at a reduced cost. Also, if you have a county animal control, they often have staff vets on site that offer greatly reduced vet care. Good luck.
