If it is a full grown dog not used to cats, then no dog can be expected to like your cats.
Also the Presa unlike is Casa is much more protective in nature. Takes someone who is firm to raise them and they can be hard headed. Depends on the dogs character. As pups they need to be socialized around strange people and dogs. They do require attention to exercise not alot when babies, but as they mature they need to get out and be exercised. They will be big so they will eat alot. If raised properly they make wonderful pets just like any other dogs. Pick a pup that has an outgoing personality if you have kids, and other pets. Best to read alot about them or talk to a professional breeder in Dogworld and see what it takes to raise one properly, knowledge is the best way to start off.

I don't know much about mastiffs but You can get a book about them to read online or at you library. The cats shouldn't be a problem... sunny and mittens are best friends!

Presa's are tough dogs to work with. They are a working breed and if they don't have a job to do or get enough exercise then they will find things to do.So basically if you have never had a working dog before and don't have several hours a day to work with them then I would not suggest this breed for you. They can end up being over a 100 pounds and if they want to do something they WILL do it! I would suggest maybe a retriever for your family 1st then work up from there.

Why don't you do some serious homework in regards to this breed. I'm not super familiar with the breed, but when I hear the name of the breed all I can think of is Diane Whipple. I know that there are bad apples in every single breed, but this was off the charts vicious.
Google as much info about the breed as possible.
Like any breed, you need to do your homework thoroughly, but since you would be bringing a gigantic dog into your home, you don't want to make any mistakes.
