What type of dog do I have?
We were told our dog is a lab, but we are curious to know what he is mixed with. His snout is extra long for a lab, and his eyes are to close together, also he is black with with. At this time he is 4 months old and 27 pounds. What do you think?

Hi, I'm called Pepper (when I behave nice). I was listed at the Humane Society in Connecticut as a German Shepherd/Border Collie mix. It seemed likely that I was - but now I'm 9 months old and really don't fit either breed. After some reasearch, it seems I may be a Canaan Dog.
From this one picture you look like you may be a Lab/Border Collie mix - but keep looking!
It's certain you are not all Lab. You are very young yet, by the time you are as old as I am it will be easier to tell what dogs are mixed in. All puppies kinda look alike.

Well, if you had more photos and personality information on Rumble's profile then I'd be able to tell better, but he looks like maybe Lab/Border Collie possibly. Go to www.canineheritage.com to take a breed test.

Hey Rumble! Your so cute! Yeah, I see Lab, but I'm not quite sure what else. But I do see that your face looks a lot like mine! Now, I'm a year and a bit and I'm 22 pounds, so we probably don't have the same breeds, but our heads are shaped exactly alike! For now anyways!

Definitely, I would say lab/border collie. Rumble looks almost exactly like my late pet, Michael, whose mother was definitely border collie. We're pretty certain hid dad was lab, even though we never saw him.
