What kind of shampoo is good for a dog with skin allergies

My dog Duke has Atopic dermatitis. He has had it since he was young. He is almost 4 now.

I was planning on giving him a bat today but the only shampoo I have is an Oatmeal shampoo and homemade shampoo for dogs.

I don't want to be held responsible if anything goes wrong, but this is your choice:

I think an oatmeal shampoo might work. Oatmeal shampoo is usually good for dried out skin, and possibly skin allergies I bet.

Have you contacted your vet about this? I am sure he or she could give you a great suggestion for a shampoo to use.

I just read online that you should be using a hypo-allergenic shampoo... Check out this site:
