What is the best choice of dog breed to get for my 9 years old sister for her birthday?

That depends on her lifestyle. Does she like running around a lot? Does she mind brushing every day? Does she like a dog that is fairly easy to train?

Also, be sure that your parents approve of getting a dog and are prepared with all that you need. Collars, food, dishes, leashes, etc.

One more thing, please only get a dog from a shelter or a reputable breeder. Pet shop dogs come from puppy mills and buying those dogs supports the cruelty that puppy mills practice just for money.
