what could this huge lump on his neck be? cancer has anyone ever experienced this?
My boxer had a huge lump on his neck. and within 6 months he had heart murmer and then stroke. so i had to put him down because with the heart murmer he wouldnt make it through surgery.this lump itself never bothered him he had good appitite and drank fine

It could of been just a watery cyst.
Older dogs get lumps sometimes. Doesn't neccesarily mean any thing in connection to cancer.
But, I am very sorry to hear about your lose.
