I have asked the vet twice about the kicking while sleeping too often all night and sometimes very vigorous. I do not know what can I do to aliviate this behavior. It seems like he is dreaming and kicking all the time, sometimes he is agitated like he was chasing after something.
They are right, nothing you can do about it. I had a dog years ago that when he started this he would start to bark in a high pitched almost puppy like bark. It was funny to hear because his normal bark was very deep .

My dog kicks in his sleep too. He'll be snoozing next to me on the couch, and suddenly I'll feel a little foot kick my side. There's no way to stop it as far as I am aware.

You can’t stop your dog from dreaming. He is not in any pain or uncomfortable. It isn’t a behavior he is in control of, just let him dream and sleep in peace.

The same way you stop a person... wake them up! HAHA!
No seriously, your dog has entered a REM (Rapid Eye Movement) Cycle and should be left undisturbed as it is crucial to getting proper rest.
I am a very active dreamer, always have been. My mommy did wake me up when I was having nightmares when she first brought me home. I was a stray taken to the animal control center. I had been living on the streets my whole young life. She often wonders what horrible things must have happened to me because I would cry, whimper, and moan in my sleep and it was just horrible!
Life is SOOO much better now!! The nightmares are all gone and so I just kick and side run in my sleep all night/nap long!
