symptoms of a shih tzu pregnancy?
Same as a pregnancy in any other dog.
Asking this question three times will not weild any different answers. You still need to take her *to the vet*. This is very important. And read up as much as you can between now and the day she begins whelping.
(About a month into the pregnancy, her breasts will become larger. When she is close to whelping, she will start looking for a den.)
If it's already been a month and she's not starting to show, she may not have become pregnant. Take her to the vet to know for sure.
If you want a different answer, just be patient. Not everyone is online at this time of morning. There are plenty of people who can answer your question.
I really wish that you had done your research beforehand. There's always a risk to the bitch, stud, and pups involved in breeding a dog, but that risk increases when you don't know what you are doing.

There are times when you really can't tell a bitch is pregnant till you take her to the vets a month after she was bred and have an Xray done. They can go through what is called a false pregnancy when they get all the signs of being pregnant but aren't. I know with my breed they can get like a black substance around their nipples for you to truly tell but again it depends on the bitch. Since she is only a year old and you clearly don't know what you are doing get this litter aborted if she is pregnant and get her spayed to prevent this from happening again. If not this litter could kill her.

An x-ray is not going to show anything at four weeks... not until the bones have started to get more density, usually not before 54 days. However, an ultrasound can be done anytime after 24 days from breeding. Or, an experienced breeder or veterinarian can palpate the bitch anytime between 28 days and 36 days to feel the fetuses...after that you can no longer feel individual pups since the uterus is too large.
You need to find out IF this bitch is really pregnant so you can make plans and start feeding her correctly. Please take her to your vet ASAP and find out. If she is NOT pregnant, this might be a great time to get her spayed!!!!!!
