My family wants to adopt a Pug sister for me to play with. Since I'm obviously a boy, I think I'd like a sister better than a brother. Can someone tell them how to find the best match for me? Can they do anything before committing to another pet to ensure it will be the right sister for me? FYI-they spay/neuter every animal that graces their home, so there is no concern in having a sister, because that is exactly what she'll be - my sister.
You can try to find a pug that is in need of a foster home, and take her in, that way if the two dogs get along you can adopt the dog.
Good luck!

You can look into animal shelters and take Pepsi with you so you can tell if they will get along. Dogs are great at picking there own companion. They know what they are looking for and it will help you make a choice. Or like the other person said you can take it in for a week or two and find out if they get along, just make sure you know about pugs they are not good with heat and have issues. So do some research before you get it and make sure it is what you want, also make sure that they are good with dogs smaller than they are. Pugs are also barky and need a strict diet. You can give them treats but don't give them too much make sure it is okay for your dog to have, (my neighbor has a pug).
