Contact the airlines. They all have different rules.
They all require you to get a health certificate from the vet within 10 days of the flight. You will need this or they will not board the dog.
You will need to get a hard plastic crate to send him in. Be sure it is large enough for the dog to turn arounf in, and streach out in. Also put a rug or a blanket in it so the dog will not slip or slide around inside. it should also be absorbant to soak up any spills or an accident.
When checking the dog through, dont make a big deal. It will only stress out the dog.
Make sure you dont give any food to the dog 12 hrs before the flight and make sure it goes potty right before you check in and put it in the crate. As soon as you check the dog in, and put it in the create you can give it a hand full our two of food. You may want to put a hanging bowl on the crate and put a few peices of ice in it so the dog will have some water during the flight when it melts.

Contact the airlines. Because they will not fly dogs if the temp. is over 85 degrees at any stop along the way, including Orlando. You may not be able to send him until the weather cools off. When airplanes are on the ground the climate controls are off and the inside heats up quickly. The passenger area has better insulation than the climate controlled cargo area where the dogs are.

Yes talk to the airlines. The crate must also be high enough for the the dog to stand up erect. The FAA now requires the airlines to keep track of problems pets have flying with them. I am not sure if you ask the airlines or the FAA, find out before buying the tickets.
