I think this is pretty typical. All my puppies have been this way a little at first. You have to remember that they know no other life but their mother and siblings and now they are in a new environment and the loss of their mother and siblings. All you can do is make her feel comfortable, secure ,and most of all loved. Provide her with a nice warm place to sleep, always have water accesible for her, feed her at least 3 times a day and love her as much as possible. I have been told you can handle them too much. I persoanlly dont believe that myself but some may disagree, but I also am one that doesn't believe you can spoil a baby. So I say just give her lots of love. You are her new mommy :)

Sadie gave good advice.
I just wanted to inform you that 6 weeks old is too young for the dog to leave it's mother. It needs to stay with the mother until it is at least 8 weeks old because the mother still has things to teach it. Like bite inhibition.
Is it at all possible for you to take it back the mother for two more weeks then take it home again? If not, then that's okay, just take care of her the best way you can.
best of luck.
