spayed dog has white discharge thick, then hardens after awhile

She has had this for almost a year now, and cries in pain when I try to clean her, also seems to have a hard lump right behind vulva, I have a serious illness, and she is the love of my life, gives me the will to go on living

It sounds like a vaginal infection...If you haven't taken her to the vet she needs to go a.s.a.p.!
