So lost! What mix of breeds is my dog?
The breeds that people have opined he comprises consist of:
German Shepherd
Lab
Pit Bull
Rottweiler
Hound
Mastiff
I am almost 100% sure he has pitbull in him. I definitely see some lab in him but I am no expert.
Up until a while ago I thought he was a mix of the first three breeds, but a friend made a convincing case that she thinks he is part Rottweiler as well (chest formation and he has the two marks above his eyes peculiar to Rottweilers, although they are somewhat diminished). I think some German Shepherd mainly because of his coloration.
I would really appreciate some insight. I am at a complete loss!

I think that he is part Pit Bull, Rottweiler, and part shepherd because of the coloring and body build. I am not an expert either so I am not 100% sure. If you really want to know ask your vet. I think there are tests to see what breed your dog is. Your dog is cute no matter what breed it is.

His coloring is very similar to Bella's. We have gotten a huge list of suggestions about her breed as well. There is definitely some Shepherd there...could be some Pit bull too. He is very handsome!
