I have a Pomeranian named JoJo, and a St.Bernard mix. I feed JoJo Wellness, and Charlie Nutro. JoJo has been on Wellness for about 4 months now, and Charlie on Nutro since I've had him. I feed them both one at a time, but JoJo seems to like Charlies food a lot better. I had JoJo on Nutro (small breed) since he was a pup, but I noticed with time that he wasn't really wanting to eat it as well as he would before. But now I noticed that he'd rather eat Charlies food. My question is, is feeding my small breed dog, large breed dog food bad for his health?
Why not just feed regular Wellness super5mix thats meant for all dogs?

just find a food that is good for all breeds. If you insist on large dog and small dog food go ahead and try to find a dog food that has both a small and a large breed formula. if you do switch foods make sure to do it slowly over a couple weeks. you shouldn't really feed a small dog the food meant for a large breed or vice versa. some foods meant for different sizes can have different levels of protein and fiber and the such. good luck picking!

Hey JoJo! You are adorable and look a lot like me! Mom feeds us Nutro too! and also works for Nutro. I sometimes like to snack on my big brothers food (also a large breed dog like your big brother...but I bet your big brother is a lot bigger than mine!) Why don't you try feeding JoJo the same flavor as your Saints food that way your Saint is still getting the optimum vitamin and mineral levels for large breeds while JoJo is still getting his optimum levels but, also something he loves! :D
