Should we adopt a second dog - follow-up!

Hi everyone! Not a question, but an update on the question I asked in December: www.dogster.com

So, after 10 months of unemployment, during which time I did not want to commit to a second dog, I am now working and have just adopted a "little brother" for Katie: www.dogster.com

Thanks to all six Dogsters who responded to the original question! Rupert is settling in well, and Katie is doing a great job as a "big sister." They love to play, and when Rupert gets too rambunctious, Katie acts like a good mother dog and makes him settle down.

If you have any guesses as to Rupert's breed, I'd love to hear them. I know very little about breeds other than German Shepherds, but most people think he's at least part Pit Bull. He is learning basic obedience, and plays well with other dogs, so I'm hoping he'll prove to be an excellent ambassador for his breed(s). Thanks!

I would have to say Pitbull and Lab mix :-) GOOD LUCK WITH THE NEW PUP :-)......the reason I say Pit/Lab is because he looks just like Christmas! He is 110% adorable!

What a beautiful dog! I think you're right - he clearly has one of the bully breeds in him, but which one or combination is hard to say. If you really need to know you can have his DNA tested but otherwise, why bother? He looks like a fine animal. Congratulations!
