sometimes imy mom cannot throw the ball constantly so what else can she do?
is there a toy, besides the kong, that works?
like a ball thrower that is durable?

Try a Chuck It (I think that is what it is called).

Or a bully stick- a big one.

Or puzzle games- we love those at our house.

Or a bone/kong with a little cheez whiz.

We LOVE our Chuck-it because frankly, Mom throws like a girl and with this she can throw it much farther so I can run, run, run after it and she doesnt have to throw it as often. Mom says she knows they are durable because she once closed ours in the car door and bent the plastic and it still works! Plus, if you lose the ball you can just replace it with any cheap tennis ball. The Chuck-it itself is relatively cheap too for as long as it lasts....something like $10 at PetCo or PetSmart

Also try "Tug a Jug", Buster Cubes, puzzle toys. You can also do "kibble hunts" (hide her meals throughout the house and have her hunt for it). Training your dog will also engage her mind and entertain her.

What sort of exercise does Riley get? If she is constantly pushing you to throw the ball, she may not be getting enough physical and mental exercise and is just bored. She sounds understimulated.
