Serious widow's peak, black and sable, all black toenails and pads, spots under tongue, sable legs, face and under tail. Black oberbody, face widows peak and top of tail. Belly is mainly black with some sable. Ears flop down and snout angles downabout 75 degrees.

Can a female dog be pregnant by more than one male?

I've heard the answer is yes, but that each puppy only has one father. I have a three-month old puppy, Foxie, who I know 100% has a purebred pitbull mom. However, her ears look like a German shepherd, and her face looks like a chow chow's. When she was younger, her tail also looked like a chow's but it has since straightened out a little. She looks VERY similar to her aunts, who were born by the same mom, but from a different litter as Foxie's mom. Her aunts are german shepherd/pitbulls. There is an unneutered male GS and an unneutered CC in the neighborhood, so it would be likely that both of these males got Foxie's mom pregnant. But if a puppy can only have one father, how does Foxie have qualities of both possible fathers? (P.S. Foxie's mom and grandmother are not my dogs. So please don't ask me why they aren't spayed. I know they need to be.. :( )

What Kind of Dog is He?

We're trying to figure out what kind of dog Daegan is. The girl who gave him to me said he was a retriever/lab mix. Well, that wasn't really specific enough. So we concluded he looked a lot like our border collie/lab that we used to have, except with more hair. So he was border collie/lab for awhile, until I started seeing features of golden retriever in him. His head and body are kind of shaped like one, and his tail is very similar to a goldie. But, he's got a very...unique tongue- like a lab's. We know for sure he's got border collie in him. He learns VERY quickly, and he loves to herd things. (The good thing about that is that he will herd smaller dogs out of the street, but the bad thing is that he will try to herd moving vehicles coming in and out of the driveway.. :/ ) We also know he either has lab or goldie in him because he has webbed feet and loves the water... Then we concluded that he was a mix of all three... So what do you think?

My new mommy got me from a friend of a friend of a friend. I am 4 1/2 months old and weigh 5 pounds. My mommy thinks I might have a bit of jack russell in me because I am a jumper. My fur is a sandy blonde with just a bit of black down the middle and fairly straight. I have floppy ears and my tail is about 5 inches long and straight. I am pretty smart (if I do say so myself) because after being in my new house only 2 days, I am settling into my routine. My mommy likes the name Duchess, but I am not so sure. I think I might be more of a Daisy.

WHAT MIX IS MY MUTT?

he is full grown at 35 lbs, he is about a year old, rescued from the shelter so these are all estimates on age and breed guesses. i have been told all of the following mixes so far; BOXER, BEAGLE, PITBULL, ROTWEILLER, and a few others i think..... he is pretty small for being full grown, has the Tri-color, big head, and very muscular build, narrow hips, small floppy ears, short hair, long tail, never barks, loves to play, very smart, um don't know what else to say!!!

Can you tell me what breed you think I am?

Randi was rescued at 5-weeks old with 2 sisters. She was 4.9 lbs. and they were both 2.6 pounds. All look very different, but were listed as chihuahua mixes. You can look at her pictures and tell that's not her primary breed, if at all. But, I can't figure it out.

so in petsmart i ran into a silver lab. i asked if i could pet him. me and the owner got talking, i asked her if the dog was purebred she said yes he has papers. so are they a purebred?

I am thinking she has som Shepherd, but I did an online thing and it suggested maybe Belgian Tervuren? She weighs 43 pounds.
