Are Papillons good with cats???

My mom and I were thinking of getting a small dog, but it has to be good with cats. Are Papillons good with cats???

My 2 year old Pappy has the most freckled skin I've ever seen on a dog.

I'm thinking that maybe he is anxious to get where we're going or that he see the trees and bushes that he'd like to go water.

I asked other's opinions on what breed am I in the Papillon forums. One said that they think that I could be pure Papillon, and I'm starting to agree with them. They showed me a site that had pictures of typical BYB and puppy mill Papillons, and they do look quite a bit like me. Except my head seems to be a little different than their's. Do you think that I am pure Papillon. If so, then should I go ahead and change my profile to show that or wait to get some more opinions? P.S. Treader is 13" tall at the withers. (I changed his profile to Papillon/Sheltie instead of Sheltie/Papillon.)

I have a 10 month old papillon and his ears are not up. At what age will they stay up? and will he be a phalene?
