Tips for In-Cabin travel?

I have an eskipoo dog. She weights 23lbs and her length is about 18 and her H is about 15". I purchased a Large Sherpa Pet Carrier (18" L x 11" H, for 22lbs) for her because I want to be able to travel with her on an airplane. She is fully trained to go in her bag, and she gets really excited to see it! I tell her to go in her bag, she runs and jumps in it. If I only have the side door open she goes inside and curls up and lays down. Although she is fully trained to be in her bag "comfortably" its obvious that she cant fully stand up if she wants to. She has learned the command "turnaround" and I've taught her how to turn herself around in the bag, but ultimately, is she too big to fly? Will the airlines allow her on board if she can't fully stand? She can turn around and lay down in the bag comfortably, will they allow this? What airlines will also allow a 25 lb dog? I know some have weight limits. Thanks for your help with this. She goes everywhere with me, but we've yet to fly!

ASKED BY

Hi,
Does anyone know how risky it really is to fly with your dog?

Im moving to Germany from the Miami,FL. with my dog and can't help but worry about what danger might be involved with flying for him.Are some airlines safer? Is there anything one can do to lessen the stress and more importantly make sure it get through it alive? Has anyone ever had problems with flying LTU/Air Berlin or or any other airline?
I've looked into traveling by boat (Cunard seems to be the only one that allows pets) but they only travel to England where it is required to quarantine the pet.
PLEASE HELP : (

ASKED BY

I'm going on vacation for 1 week (9 nights total) and worried how my 1 year old Boston is going to handle it

My pup is very attached to me - she loves being with people, but is especially close to me (probably because when we got her I was the one that really took care of her all the time - walking, feeding, everything!) I am going away for a week (9 nights to be exact), the longest I've been away from her is 1 night. She will be home with my grandma so she will not be in a strange place while I am way, but I'm worried about her, how she is going to react to me not being around for so long. I'm also going to have people come by to play with her and take her for walks (since my grandma works). Does anyone have any advice, I just want to make sure she will be OK - as crazy as it might sound, I'm worried about her, especially since I am going to be on a cruise the other side of the country.

ASKED BY

I am 1, and my mommy is really nervous I won't be the little angel I normally am...hehe She's heard mixed reviews on sedatives (anti anxiety meds) and is now nervous to use them.... she knows she can't take me out of my carrier during flight. What about water? Any thoughts on keeping me calm? And we have a layover w/ possibility of no outside time for me... should she keep me in carrier? I may be perfectly fine, but she knows I hate my kennel :-P and is trying to be more prepared as not to have a miserable flight! Any suggestions/advise is greatly appreciated! Thank you!!!

ASKED BY
