We live across the street from a large pond and our labs know not to cross the road but recently (probably from the warm temperatures) have been sprinting across the road, jumping in, and sprinting back to our house. Usually it occurs when I am outside playing fetch with them. I am concerned that they are going to get hit by a car.

ASKED BY

Traveling with a 15 maybe 16 or 17lb dog on a airplane?

I am most likely going to Texas for Christmas to visit family that will be moving there. My dog is probably between 15-17lbs, hes a mutt so no idea what he is. I would love to be able to take him, because i know my family wouldn't mind him being there, as they have a dog of their own. I just don't know how it works to travel with dogs, there is no way he'd be able to fit in a crate that goes under the seat. So are there any other options?

ASKED BY

I need a SUV mesh pet barrier so dogs won't jump out when i open hatch back door.

Where can i find a net/mesh pet barrier to hook across my way back SUV by the hatch back door to prevent my 2 dogs from juming out of the car as soon as I open the door? I have to be ready to grab their leashes as soon as I open the door but its too dangerous to keep doing it this way. My great dane has already gotten past me. I already have a barrier to keep my dogs in the back of my SUV, but now I REALLY need one like i just listed above that BLOCKS or half blocks the hatchback door.

ASKED BY

My husband and I travel very frequently and are new to this area with no family or friends. But have two wonderful well behaved cocker spaniels that need care. We've had bad experiences with kennels and they are used to a home environment. If you can help please don't hesitate to contact me at 586-532-1772.
