There is a email going around called "This is "Faith". He is a dog that was a rescue and born with three legs but had to have one of those three amputated and now only has two, his two back legs. His mom has taught him how to walk on his two hind legs alone. It is a great story and everyone should know about him!!!

ASKED BY

My 1 yr old lab died just a few days ago. Were lost on what happened. He was totally fine just 2 hrs before.

He broke his leg 2 wks prior and had surgery to fix it. He was doing well aside from a little irritation from the cast and a little swelling along the incision. Yet only 3 hrs after having his cast changed he started twitching and eventually had a seizure. After taking him to te vet he was doing fine after they started an IV however his heart stopped soon after and couldnt be ressessd. The vet said that his blood showed low glucose, potassium, and electrolytes. She said that was a sign of exposure to rat poisening. But Ive also been told its a sign of a heart attack. I also understand that usually if a dog is exposed to rat poisoning he will vomit and he never did. On top of that being he broke his leg we had kept him in a play pen to keep him seperate from our other puppy. We have no idea how he could have been exposed to it due to the limited space he was in. He was on Cephalexin, tramadol, and rymadil for his leg. Is there anythng else that could have lead to his death

ASKED BY
