I know we have already answered your questions earlier but a mini or pocket or tea cup or whatever are just a way for people to milk others of their money. Please don't fall for it

Pros:
-Ummm...it's a dog with an ability to love you like any other? That's all I can think of.
Cons:
-Small size often causes health problems, including something called "water head"
Good breeders do not breed "mini" dogs on purpose. A breeder's duty is to keep the breeds healthy, not to make money. Breeding a tiny pooch only serves to hinder this goal.

Little dogs are cute and all but for me I think of a dog as a DOG! Not a fragile teeny tiny thing, but a rough and tumble, protector, and friend. That's my type of dog....as cute as the little one's are they are much too fragile.

I can see no positives about it at all...Just a money making gimmick by unscrupulous breeders breeding undersized & unhealthy pups.

Cons: 1. You pay a lot of money for a badly bred dog from a breeder that isn't breeding correctly and most likely hasn't even done the necessary health checks on the parents. These are just money making gimmicks BYBs try to tell people that they have teacup, minnies or pocket dogs to get more money.
2. These types of dogs have a lot more health problems and usually from what I read don't live as long.
Pros: Really can't think of any
So is it worth the high puppy price or the extra vet bills you could be having. I don't think so not when there are plenty of healthier dogs in shelters needing homes.

Cons- alot of times breeders are taking the small runts of the litter and are breeding them with smaller dogs. When do this many times you can get health problems because the smaller dog eally was not healthy enough to even be breed. It is just a way to make money.
Pro- I guess a small dog is given to someone to love and take care of them, about the only thing i can say just like what was said before

Pros if your not home all that often and want to take your dog places that is the way to go !! Plus they are cute !!
Cons - a lot of times they have a lof of heath defects...so if you have the money to take them to the vet often and I mean often for treatments and what not than be our guest !!
But in the end it's your choice !! So happy puppy shopping!! And hopefully you get what you want ! And congratulations on your new addition ! they are so much fun!
