My shiz shu puppy needs a hair cut. I am not looking to give it a puppy cut. What other cuts are there that is more

A puppy can get all of the regular cuts a full grown dog has. The first thing you want to think about before choosing a cut is you dog's hair type. Is it real soft and fine or is it a little more coarse? If it is soft and fine you are going to want to keep the body and face cut much shorter but can keep some length on the ears and tail. The fine hair matts much easier. A more coarse hair can easily be grown longer with less maintainence. Regardless don't forget brushing in between groomings is very important. It saves the groomer time, is easier on your puppy and alot of times can save you money. Hope this helps.
