my dog was diagnosed with a tumor i his mouth he is 20 years old is it true that surgery is not recomended?

I would listen to your vet on this...20 yrs. old is very old to be putting a dog through surgery...Perhaps you could go to another vet for a 2nd opinion for your own peace of mind.

I am very sorry to here about your dog. Dogs are different than people and if you were related to someone you would give them surgery, but since your dog is 20 years old, you should think about it and find out what the cost is.
