My dog quit eating. It has been over a week. She is 13. Does she want to die.

The more realistic question is, do you want her to die?... she REALLY needs to see a vet!!!!! Like last week! I'm sorry I don't mean to be rude but this is just unbelievable to me.... :(

You should take her to the vet. There could be a lot of reasons for her to stop eating that are not fatal, like a sore tooth. In the meantime have you tried feeding her chicken and rice? Let us know how she is doing.

thanks Kolbe, that is awful, don't do that, take her to the vet instead of wondering what to do or not knowing what to do.
Again, this is viewed as animal cruelity. Is the same dog that was hit by a car?

Poor thing, I hope she gets better soon. Call your vet immediately. A week is a really long to not eat especially for a 13 year old pup.
