Could be worms but its more likely anal glands. Whenever a dog scoots or drags their bum on your floor especially after going number 2 it usually means anal glands need to be expressed. Go to the vet or groomer to have them checked out and expressed. Sometimes more fiber in the diet will help prevent this. Like give baby carrots as a treat every now again, etc.

I agree, most likely anal glands. This is nothing to ignore. I had one that became infected and burst. What a painful mess, I had to take antibiotics for a week then have surgery to repair the area that was torn out. It was horrible.

yep could be worms, anal gland, or food irritations.
I would get the anal glands expressed.
Then go for a check up on the dog.
After that see if a no grain food will help. or perhaps the food needs more grains.

Likely his anal glands are clogged. You need to get them emptied because they can rupture and/or get infected. It's a cheap vet visit, they'll squeeze them and then clean up your doggie's rear. The fluid is pretty stinky. Good Luck to your and your dog.

If he is well groomed I am sure it is anal sacs as everybody else has noted. If the area is dirty or there is matted hair he will scoot though. Before heading off to the groomer or vet check the area and clean very gently if it seems dirty at all.
