my dog is sick ,but I don't have the heart to put him to sleep.
All dogs eventually develop an incurable problem. It is the toughest decision a dog owner ever has to make. I once stated Aster had a place in my home as long as she was enjoying life. Having gotten old enough I hurt more than I used to, I am not ready to call Dr. Kevorkian. Last fall, she suddenly developed a large tumor, quit eating, and lost interest in a walk. I couldn't even get her to take her pain pill in a ball of peanut butter or cheese. It was time.
If your dog still has activities it enjoys, make the most of the time you have left. If the dog is doing nothing but laying in pain, you owe him relief. Do it.

It is very hard indeed. I have been there more than once.
If you can not have someone who the vet says can bring her/him.
Have that person do it when you are at work.
But, for me, I have to do it I have to be the one. I have felt like crap for doing it, but when you know it is the right thing to do, you have to feel for the animal. I usually look deep into their eyes and tell them I am sorry. They know I feel when you are trying to help them.

In situations like this, it breaks your heart but we as pet owners need to think about our pet and not our own feelings. As humans we NEVER want to say good-bye to the ones we love, but some times love means saying good-bye.
My first dog needed to be laid to rest and as much as it broke my heart, seeing him struggle to stand up I think was worse. One day I looked at him and knew it was time.
When making such a difficult decision, listen to your mind and not just your heart. Meaning, your heart will tell you to keep him around for you because you love him but your mind will be telling you to say good-bye to him because you love him. Hopefully, you get that, it's late.
I am so sorry and my heart goes out to you. Big hugs going out to your dog and you.

Well it is a very hard choice... but if your dog is in great pain and is finding it hard in life then it might be an idea to let him go to sleep and that will stop his suffering.I will say a prayer for him.
