my dog has a cut and there are maggots around his cut is that bad?

after he got the cut we kept him inside but when we took him outside the next day he had maggots.

Take your dog to the vet NOW. Maggots on a cut are BAD. What would you do if your child had a cut with maggots on it? Post on an internet forum to see what a bunch of strangers think?

Your dog could die of an infection. Please take him to a vet for needed medical attention.
