My Doberman eats mud clumps. Is that normal

could be a mineral defficiency or could be a stomach ache, could be worms... could be nothing but "good tasting mud" or boredom. Try to eliminate the worm/deffiency question with a vet check. Your girl looks well fed and cared for so I doubt that those two things are real worries. Many dogs eat strange things, they can smell and taste things we can't and don't "know" that mud is unacceptable as "food". One other thing is possible, some parasite eggs actually have a sweet appealing scent, is it possible that there have been droppings at the sites where your dog is eating the mud?

Dobie eating mud ; this problem or situation can be called PICA... Eating things that are not to be ingested for nutrition.

My Weimaraners and Chihuahuas at mud clumps, grass, rocks and anything they can get in there mouths. Specky eats mud clumps and grass.
