My Chihuahua is only 2&1/2 lbs and almost two years old, she is being spayed... should I worry?

Yes, but not too much. Things can go wrong, but very seldom do. Continued seasons and accidental breedings are far more dangerous along with cancer. You are being a good owner.

You love her so of course you're going to worry, but I'm quite sure your little girl will be just fine.
I know when Deogie got neutered I paced the floor and bit all my nails off. I could finally breathe when they said he was out of surgery and doing well.

With my small dogs it helps me to remember that my vet spays kittens all the time and they are much smaller!
Good luck!
