You can care for the puppies, but she also needs a vet. I'm sorry, but there's no way around it. Unless you want to risk her dying while giving birth to the puppies. She may end needing a C-section due to complications, you know. And no, C-sections are not uncommon.
Here's an article on caring for newborn puppies:

If you can't afford or get to a vet, honestly why do you even have a dog? I know how it is to have money troubles. Believe me, my family is below the poverty level. But we can still afford a vet. In the event that we couldn't, we are prepared to give our dogs away to someone who can.
A vet a a necessecity, not an accessory. I'm sorry that you're going through this and that your dog was impregnated at such a young age. I do not mean to come off as harsh, but the truth is the truth is the truth.

I agree with the previous answer.

Frankly, I'd love to tell you that yes, the puppies and your dog will be okay, but the harsh reality is that without a vet's care, it's hard to say for sure if things will go okay, or not.

There are a lot of factors that can effect a birth.

Your puppy is quite young to have litter and she may have complications due to that, or possibly due to her size or breed, though you don't specify what kind of dog she is.

Part of the responsibilty of dog ownership is making sure they have adequate medical care and that especially includes when new puppies are coming into the world.

If you can't get to a vet, at least call one to find out what you can do to recognize complications or call around rescue groups to see if any experienced people can help you through the birth and help you place the puppies in loving, responsible homes once they arrive.

You don't have to be wealthy to be a dog owner, but this is very basic care.

I agree with both of the previous answers.

If you don't have enough money to take care of your dog (pregnet or not) then you should NOT have gotten a dog in the first place. WHY DID YOU DO THAT?

You NEED more money or your dog and her puppies will sadly die.

Dieta

You have to take her the vet.
Maybe there is assistance at your local animal shelter.
If not, it might be good to surrender her to the local animal shelter as you can not afford to incure any bills.
Also, some vets will allow you to make payments for services with half down.
Sounds like there is no easy solution to your problem.

Try to find a way to get to the vet. I think a vet might be willing to help out in this case, and Animal shelters often spay for cheap. As soon as she is done with this litter, she should be spayed. I know it is hard, and I'm sure you didn't mean for her to get pregnant. I hope you can get help. If you can't, try to find out how to help her as best as you can. Make her comfy around the time of the birth, be with her, help her through. Without a vet she might lose several or all of the pups, maybe even her depending on the size of the littler and the dog. Smaller dogs have a harder time. I'm so sorry for you! I hope she makes it OK!

Shiloh, that was too harsh. People are free to ask questions here. Everyone makes mistakes and this person is asking for help. Lets look to the future and think positivly in times of crisis. Best wishes to you all.

I don't see how there is 'no way' to get a ride to the vet. If you don't have a car and the bus system won't allow pets, find a taxi that does. There are also pet taxi services. Or post an ad on Craigslist in the rideshare and pets sections explaining your situation and asking for transportation. After all, you have access to the Internet. Somehow you can get a ride.

Since you have not taken your dog to the vet and I'm assuming you haven't called, since they would have been able to give you the advice you're asking for, you don't know how much it costs or what your options are--so how do you know you can't afford it? If you simply do not WANT to afford it, please do the right thing and surrender your girl to the ASPCA or similar.

None of us can tell you if she will be okay. She might be totally okay, but she might lose her life and her puppies. Please don't make a gamble like that--there are always options, don't feel trapped and do what's best for your puppy. She needs you to.
