My 2 year old chihuhua is not nice to other dogs,children,or new people.We just got him.Any ideas?

Hmmm....... I'm real sorry about your dog, I think that since he's only 2, he's still an adolecent, which means there's still time to correct this behaviour. He may have been abused before, or attacked by another dog in his previous years, which means these bad experiences should & ahve to be replaced with pleasant ones. I would contact a personal trainer. But for some in home activities to help with people petting your dog try this... Get a pointer stick and attach a gardening glove to the end. Fill the glove with foam, or cotton filling. Pet your dog with this "hand" when he tries to snap squirt him with a squirt bottle and say in a firm voice, "NO" don't schedule this, just do this any ol' time at least 5 times a day. probably when he was much younger he wasn't socialized properly , I think this may be the case. Continue this exercise, just make sure he does't know it;s truly you. Go around a corner and pet him with the "Hand" or go behind a coucha nd pet him or under a blanket ;]
