Hi there,
I feel for you, and can understand your worry, but if you aren't getting answers to your medical questions, you should really try going to another vet for a second opinion. When you were given the X-ray, did anyone explain it to you?
Most of us Dogsters do not have professional training, and while we like to share our experiences and helpful ideas, this sounds like a problem that is much too specific and too serious to pose on the Answers page.
I wish you the best of luck, and hope you can get some good, solid answers by getting a second (or third) opinion from a qualified vet, or a veterinary teaching hospital.

Hello,
I'm sorry about your pet being diagnosed with cancer. Cancer is a horrible thing. You shouldnt try to determine what type of cancer your dog has if you are not qualified to make that determination. You dont want to make a wrong diagnosis. Many cancers spread very rapidly while others progress slower. It is very important you know for sure what type of cancer your pet has! If possible have your vet recommend an oncologist for you to have a consultation with. Many people go through chemotherapy with their dogs. Also you can try a holistic vet. Holistic vets use natural medication to help with the pets immune system, and to help with the cancer. I wish you and your dog the best!
