Is a grain-free diet best for a chihuahua?

I have a chi that is currently on Wellness Super5Mix Small Breed food (which she is doing very well on) but I was thinking of going grain-free and switching her to Wellness Core. Any thoughts, sugguestions, or advice would be helpful :)

Boston

Its up to you both are great foods. I rotate so mine get grain free but I also feed one food thats grain inclusive. They do awesome on both but they do best on grain free foods. All dogs are different though. Size doesnt matter. Boston at his heaviest is 4.5 lbs. He eats high protein grain free food and loves it and does well. They only way you will know is to try. Just remember to switch slowly.
1-2 weeks 3/4 old, 1/4 new
1-2 weeks 1/2 and 1/2
1-2 weeks 1/4 old, 3/4 new
then 100% new.

Burkett's Cookies 'n' Creme

IMO, grain-free is best, since dogs in general do not need carbs. So, if my belief is correct, grain-free is best for any dog.
My Papillon mix is fed a grain-free diet (well, sometimes he gets treats with a little grain in them), and he's doing excellently. There's a big difference in him now, and him before. But he is fed a raw diet, no kibble at all...so yeah. Don't expect the kind of results you'd get from a raw diet from any kibble.
My GSD is fed a rotation diet of meat-based kibble (with grains), and the before/after difference in her is not quite so noticeable.

Miss Priss

Chihuahua on Wellness Super 5 mix; It is a wonderful food choice. If she is doing well, then I would not change it.
