One of the great benefits of crating a puppy is reducing activity, thus slowing the body's processes down allowing the puppy to go longer without relieving itself. Put 2 puppies in the same crate, and space or no space, there will plenty of activity. Buy another crate or put a divider in the one you have.

The other side of the coin is activity before going in the crate to empty bowels and bladders.

they should have their own crate. that way they have enough room to move about. and they won't be stressed, and they won't start fighting with each other. usually a dog will view their crate as only their home and no one elses. good luck.
