My mommy and me really want to adopt either a Goldendoodle (golden retriever/Poodle mix), or a Coton de Tulear. I am a purebred Bichon who my mommy loves and adopted months ago but wants a playmate for me and has more love to give to a second dog. We love mixed dogs but we also love the purebred coton.
Here are links to descriptions of both:

I love big dogs and small ones and so does my mommy. We are both energetic and playful and have lots of love to give.
Please help me find a best friend from the doggie world like my best friend in the human world (my mommy).
Woof Thanks!
A COTON DE TULEAR WOULD BE A GREAT CHOICE!! I own one and she is wonderful! she loves to play with other dogs! I couldnt imagine my life without her!

My advice is to research the breeds to help you deteremine and to learn about the temperaments of the actual dogs themselves. There are pretty accurate breed descriptions under "breed info" on this site. You'll find the Goldendoodle listed under "cross breeds".

Since a Goldendoodle is a mutt and so many of them are nuerotic, crazy, difficult to groom, barking, excessive energy mutts, I would go with the Conton de Tulear. It would be a much better match up with your Bichon. Only get a doodle if it is free and you want to rescue it. They are not the best mutt and are far to popular amongst BYB trying to make a profit and over breeding these poor dogs.

Go for the Coton de Tulear, i've seen multiple people at my local dog park that own goldendoodles and they are more than a handful.

Make sure that you do all of the research that you can on whichever breeds you are interested in. The AKC website has great information regarding breed types and their characteristics - www.akc.org - so begin there. I personally do not support the breeding of mixed breeds, so that is not the way I would go, unless you are rescuing a dog from a shelter or adoption agency. If you are looking to purchase from a breeder, it is best to not support back yard breeders, who, in turn, breed impure dogs. Find a reputable breeder in your area, and make sure that you are in search of a dog that fits into YOUR lifestyle. Don't just get a dog because you are fancied by the breed - make sure you are able to handle anything that may come along with it.
