I have an aggressive Large Breed Dog. I 'm not sure how to introduce people to him on his own turf. since he is aggressive toward people on our property. what steps should I take?
Muzzle him or get a head halti and take him to a park or somewhere where he isnt on his territory and have him meet people. you could have people give him a treat or a toy when they approach to get him to realise people are not threatening him.
Also tell people to blink heavily, lick their lips and look away not directly at him when they approach, and let him sniff their hand before greeting him, if you watch wild dogs these behaviors are their way of saying "Im not threatening you" They are negotiation behaviors.

Without more details of what you mean by an aggressive dog, it is not possible to answer your question. Has he ever bitten anyone? Under what circumstances? This is a case where you need to call in an animal behaviorist - not just a dog trainer, but a certified animal behaviorist. Your dog's life could depend on it.

Get a good behaviorist or trainer involved quick.
Last thing you want or need is someone to get bit.
Since you already know that he could potentially bite someone, it's a matter of time when he will.
There are a lot of ways of using treats and toys when people come over, but you have to do it the right way and a good trainer will be able to help you with it.
In one of the training books I read, the behaviorist was working with a similar issue and she suggested that he should keep a basket of tennis balls on the front porch and before people enter, they grab a ball out of the basket and when the door is open and the dog is near, they toss the ball over the dog and he'd go chasing it. He started relating the fun of chasing the ball to people coming in.
Over time of course. His dog was motivated by chasing a ball, not treats. Find out what motivates your dog, talk to a trainer and work on it every single day.
