Hi there,
This question is hard to answer without knowing some more details... Is your dog young or old? Is this a new problem, or has it always been this way? Have there been any changes in your dog's daily routine or environment (like a different work schedule or the birth of a new baby)? Has your dog been to the vet lately to rule out a bladder infection or urinary tract infection?
I'm going to assume she's young or recently adopted, and you are trying to potty train, so I hope this is helpful. Start by reading this article on housetraining: www.k9techsupport.com
Consult with the vet to make sure she is healthy (recently Katie had a problem with wetting herself in her sleep, and it turned out that she had a bladder infection, which the vet treated with antibiotics).
In addition to the tips in the article, above, try taking her for a walk or a trip to the dog park after she eats. Walking or running should stimulate her to eliminate. Good luck!

If the dog is pooing inside take the poo and place it in the yard.
Take the dog out on a leash and show the dog the poo.
Walk the dog around that area if the dog goes either way praise the dog lavishly.
Also if the dog is afraid of the yard, then go out with the dog daily and toss food all over the perimeter to desensitize the dog into thinking the yard is bad or unpleasant thing to be out in. :) good luck.
