I have a 3 year old german shepherd that constantly plays keep away with my 8 year old Golden's ball. I need help!
My poor dog is stressed out and I don't know to fix it. My retriever just wants the ball, the shepherd wants to keep it away. There's also another shepherd (the brother) and he doesn't know what is going on but i've noticed when i have the ball and holding it in the air, my golden will just stare at ball... for some reason the shepherds just start freaking out and barking at nipping at his neck???? Please help.

When your GSD has the ball, one thing you can do is trade up. He has the Golden's ball? Then get out another toy and encourage him to take it. If that doesn't work, use food.
As to the second scenario, I need a little more detail. How does the Golden act? How exactly do they freak out, and when they nip his neck do they seem to hurt him? Do they actually draw blood?

Play with them seperately.
This will end the one dog trying to play keep away and stop hogging all the toys.
The shepherd may have to be taught the two ball game as this is a habit of a dog playing keep away, he must of early on learned that the only ball he had was taken by you each time.
Using two balls prevents a dog from thinking that someone is taking the ball he owns away, then once the game ends give a word and place them in your pocket. You start the game and end the game. The balls are never theirs they are yours. That sounds mean but isn't a dog thinks different then us in many ways.

Use more than one ball-how about two or even three? I have to throw three different toys to three different dogs and I throw them all in a different direction-that way they are all still playing with mom and no one can hog any of the toys.

You already have some good advise, only wanted to add my shep and lab did this too. They worked it out themselves tho. The lab would constantly take toys away from Jet, he would say okay, fine, Ill get another, then she'd take that one away from him. He would get bored and ignore her till a point where she started bringing the toys back to him and dropping them in front of his face!
