I don't know where to post this but some great dogs need homes.
An old man who has been running a rescue/ some are mostly german shepherds they are European dogs. He has fallen due to the economy, an injury of some kind. He needs help finding homes, I think he has four 10 month old pups as well. He lives in Colorado. I am too far to help him. I can get his # if you can help. He has helped alot of dogs and now needs other people's help. I hope posting it here is ok, because I don't know all the details of his situation. He is putting his beloved senior to sleep since they are very old and not in great health, my heart goes out to him. thank you.

There is a possibility I can help. I sent a paw-mail to you with my phone #. I will, however, need to speak with my other half tonite when we are both home. I also sent information on a rescue program in W. Nebraska that may be able to help, if there is funding for food, etc.

I have emailed you privately. I live in CO, and may be able to set up a foster situation with one male dog. We have a female shepherd at the moment, and she gets along well with males.

Hi Dieta,
I live in Southern CA, and there is an awesome rescue group here, German Shepherd Rescue of Orange County (GSROC). Their volunteers are the best!
I just Googled German Shepherd rescue CO and found the following links:

I also found a couple of links that included "puppies for sale." Of course, I did not include those here, as they are 99% likely to be back-yard breeders who are using the terms "rescue" and "adoption fee" as a hook to attract naive customers.
