I do not know what breed my dog is? Any answers will be appreciated.

I have had him for about two years. When my dad got him for me, he said he might be a collie/chow mix. But I'm not sure.

When I first looked at his face it looked so familiar and I think i no what he is! I think he is a cairn terrier/shiba inu! What a beautiful dog! I think thats it! If not the cairn terrier I think some kind of terrier with a shiba inu for sure. I just looked up both dogs and it does look like your dog. You should check both dogs out and see if you agree. Any other comments pawmail me!

There were 3 pictures in Photobucket, he looks like a pretty big dog. 70 pounds, give or take?
If that's about the size of him then I think Akita/ Golden Retriever mix. Those soft sweet eyes are very like Goldens, but the ears are very Akita. If your dog is much smaller than that then he may be Golden/Shiba mix. Very few Shiba owners let their dogs loose or leave them out to have an "oops" litter, so that seems less likely.

he looks to me like a collie/shiba inu cross which is bound to have a lot of energy so he should nead at least a 30 minute walk a day.

Beautiful dog, golden retriever, maybe husky and a few other things for variety. Really pretty eyes.
It would be good if you could get a fence and not chain your dog. Lots of dogs choke to death, get tangled up and die slowly in the sun, or get loose and drag a chain off only to get tangled and die slowly form starvation.
Chaining is a really bad idea and such a beautiful dog deserves not to wear chains.
