2-3% of its bodyweight , since young n still growing i would feed closer to 2% minimum n keep it lean, but not skinny

Start with the amount recommended on the dog food bag for his weight. Then feed less if the ribs get hard to feel and feed more if the ribs, backbone and hips get too prominent. The waist is usually visible on even quite heavy dogs, go by the bones! Evaluate and adjust amount weekly as your pup is still growing. I used to change from a 1/3 to a 1/4 cup measure as needed. Or you could feed a level measure or a rounded measure. Make small changes!
