how do i get my jack Russell to stop barking all the time

JRTs (Jack Russell Terriers) are extremely high-energy dogs. He's barking because he's bored. The solution? Give him all of the exercise he needs, both physical and mental. Mental exercise anything that makes him use his head. This can be done by teaching him tricks, participating in a dog sport such as Agility, or playing mind-stimulating games like "hide and seek".
Again, JRTs need A LOT of both types of exercise. Because of this, they are not the right breed for everyone. (No breed is.) They do best with an active family or individual.
