There is hope!!

Try posting the cat Pet finder.com or call a no kill rescue in that area who might have some ideas.

I was one of those cats and the shelter was going to put me down as being "fractous" and unadoptable, when mom found me.

Now I am happy, hang out in the middle of the floor in the sun and sleep on Mom's bed at night.

Hang in there, I truly think there is a forever home even for her.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you during what must be such a difficult time for you. If your sister belongs to any support groups in her area, perhaps they could advise you as they've most likely dealt with this sort of situation. You could also enlist the help of a reputable rescue organization in New York. Many of them know of good people who handle "problem" kitties. Some people just have that talent, and I knew of a few in my former rescue organization who were very successful. There are also organizations who deal exclusively with feral cats. You could probably locate them through google or Petfinder. Please accept our best wishes and loving thoughts for your sister, her kitties and yourself.
