It could be a medical condition, or you may be leaving her in there too long. But first and foremost, I recommend ruling our any medical possibilities first.

Spaying will not un-train your dog. It is possible that the anesthetic messed up her system a little and gave her loose bowels and if she is in pain, she may not be wanting to defecate until she has to.
Did you get her a pain shot and pain medications? Are you making sure to not to keep her in the crate too long.
A good walk with plenty of time to decide to do her business might help too. If she continues to defecate in her crate, get her back to the vet for a checkup.
