First aid for a puppy who drank an expired milk?

My friend's puppy was able to drink an expired milk (3 months from its expiration date). Th epuppy has been vomiting and not eating. The vet gave a anti-bacterial but it seems not working. Can anyone give us more info on what to do? Thank you so much.

Get back with the vet. He may want to try something different. I would never follow medical advice over the net. There are too many people giving advice that have no idea how little they know.

If this dog will eat some raw liver, try it. It will produce the squirts, but it may help. My question to the dog guardian is why they had expired by 3 months milk in their home. This is not sanitary. Does this dog need to find a home where the food is safe to eat? Was the guardian saving it for itself? It sounds like the humane society needs to step in here, unless there is a very good reason for this happening.
Pro-biotic yogurt could also help.

I can't get over the fact that someone kept expired milk 3 months past due date. Talk about disgusting! Is the expired milk sitting on the floor or is this a talented dog who can open the fridge. Maybe the dog also ate many other rotting foods.........poor puppy. Diffinately need to have this puppy removed. #1 The puppy obviously wasnt supervized and was able to drink a carton of expired milk. #2 This person has 3 months past due date expired milk, makes me wonder what the house looks like! I know I am sounding judgemental but geez, I have shivers thinking about this. eew!

I'm not quite sure how adding diarrhea to the mix will help this dog.
I agree with Aster, you should take the dog back to the vet.

His stomach also might be upset, give him Acidophulus. Try giving him Colloidal Silver. Many people say Colloidal Silver is toxic to dogs, NO it is not. Colloidal Silver is very good for dogs, it helps there immune system, it will cure them, Colloidal Silver will stop the vomiting. Acidophulus will help stop the vomiting and help the stomach feel better.

Jack

i'd take this dog to the vet. Liver is only going to make the dog even sicker.

Also, in terms of removing the dog from it's home, it's not even clear from this answer if the dog ingested the milk at home. For all we know, he could have been anywhere.

Please, rather than stir the pot and jump to conclusions.....keep answers about advice that is related to the actual known situation.
