Does my pup have allergies/asthma, or is it something he ate?
My lab/beagle/collie mix 1 year old pup has been acting as I do when I have allergies (i.e. coughing and sneezing). Two nights ago he got into the trash and has been coughing alot more, vomitting thick white mucus, and has a warm, runny nose. Is it time for a checkup at the vet or does this sound more urgent?

If these symptoms have gone on for more than a day, then take him in to the e.r vet. Why wait 'til Monday? If something is wrong, waiting two more days could be trouble.
Better safe than sorry. And I'm sure your dog is tired of vomitting.
