Do Basset Hound's eyes drop?

Our Basset Hound puppy, who was born on August 28th, took a nap today and when he woke up, his left eye was looking very lazy. His left eye was looking like a sad Basset Hound while his right eye looked 'normal'. Are their eyes suppose to drop like this and usually at what age is this suppose to happen?

that is totally 100% normal! bassets normally have droopy eyes. i think your dogs age is when they start to droop! ( :
