Mine does and she has guys to walk the dogs and play fetch during the day. Sometimes I drop KABX for a grooming day instead of day care and she loves it! Be sure the staff genuinely love dogs and start with grooming appointments or day care and maybe later you can leave your pup with them if you trust their service.
Whenever I leave for a long period of time I ask my pup's trainer to take them to his house. He keeps them in a family environment and he knows what to do in case of an emergency. I understand what you mean, it happened to me, one day you need to trust your babies to someone and you have to do a lot of research first before taking that huge step. Whatever you decide to do, start with very short periods of time and analyze how your dog likes it and if you will have peace of mind. Ask if your dog will have any kind of activity and the acomodation he will have. Ask for the food they provide, maybe you will have to bring your own. I trust you will make a god choice.

Some vets do. Just call yours and ask. Many vets do boarding and even grooming all in the same place. But your pet might do better in a specialized Dog Day Care where it will get exercise and social interaction daily. Your vet may not provide the same environment.

Ellie

Our vets office has a kennel and that is where Ellie stays when we go on trips.
It depends upon your vets office.

Mine does. It's Integrity Animal Hospital (Vet & Boarding), and it's in Kingsland, GA.

Lily

Our vet had a boarding facility attached to, but separate from his clinic. Sasha stayed there and was very well cared for. In her case, I think it was an especially good place for her because they were familiar with her issues and my requirements. Plus, the staff loved her and went to play with her on their breaks. One even went out and bought her new toys because Sasha liked toys so much. As if I hadn't packed enough.
