Yes, yes, yes!
I subscribe to this great magazinea and I really look forward to each new subscription.
In addition to adorable pups each month (they have a great two page spread called Smiling Dogs where they showcase reader submitted pics of dog smiles. I guarantee that it will make your day!) they also have informative articles on the latest and greatest health, mental well being and playtime issues.
They also have great fiction and guest writers. One that sticks out in my mind from a recent issue was the actor Viggo Mortensen, who wrote a very poignant article about saying goodbye to his beloved dog.
It isn't a 12 issue mag, I think it only has 9 or 10 issues, but it is very, very well done and you do save a bit of money doing a subscription instead of picking it up at the newsstand.

I don't but it looks pretty cool - I might have to stop at the mall (yuck) and pick up a copy. Not tonight though, we've got a major snowstorm going on here.

I subscribe, and I will probably renew my subscription. There is good info in there, but if you are looking only for an entertaining 'fun' magazine, this isn't it. They do have that in it, but they also have more serious articles about health and feeding and other stuff folks are interested in. Sometimes it takes me a few weeks to get through all the articles (guess I'm too busy playing with my pups!!).

I've heard of it, and all that I've heard is good. I'm an advocate of DFK, really.

I don't have a subscription to Bark magazine or any other magazines at this point. I am one of those people who will look at them in the store, and only buy issues that have something in them I'm really interested in, like a very good article on a subject that interests me, for example.
I look at Bark every time I see a new issue in the magazine section but I buy it very rarely. I have to say that I'm disappointed that so much of their advertising seems to cater to people who treat their dogs as small humans in fur coats, with dog jewelry and stuff like that. I was also really disappointed in their editorial on Take Your Dog To Work Day. That was really sad, especially from a dog magazine. At least in my opinion.

We love BARk Magazine!
We like that it is not breed specific and offers a great variety of stories, literature and features that speak to many aspects of our relationships with our dogs. The smiling dog pages never fail to make us do the same! We have even seen some Dogster faces on there!
BOL!
