I could be wrong but the first two look like Malamutes but not purebred, and the third looks mixed as well with siberian.

Big John

Indy is an ALASKAN Huskie, a smaller lighter dog. we had one. Very strong for their sze and not the brightest bulbs in the chandelier.
The other dogs do indee look like Siberian Huskies.
The Alaskan Huskies are i believe friendlier more sociable dogs.

Hi, there are two types of Husky, the Alaskan and Siberian husky, and a number or northern breeds that resemble Huskies.

An Alaskan Husky is a dog type that includes Siberians, Malamutes, GSDs and whatever will help to create a healthy strong sled dog.

Siberian Huskies are a breed of Husky and can be registered with the AKC as well as work as sled dogs.

Malamutes look something like a really big husky and are also a breed.

I believe that there are a number of subtypes of cross bred huskies that are from particular areas in Alaska and a number of Spits type Nordic breeds as well.

Do a search in Dogster pictures or on Google for Alaskan Husky. I think you will find a lot of dogs that resemble your guys.

Kitana

I would not consider malamutes and kee klais huskies. I know the AKC Siberian Husky Club of America would take great offense to be put in that category. There are siberian huskies and "alaskan" huskies which aren't recognized by AKC and still trying to determine if "alaskan" huskies are the same thing because from my research I have not found anything otherwise. If someone can send me something that states otherwise I would love to look at it.

Malamutes and Kee Kai's ARE NOT huskies... that is like calling an Australian Shepherd and a German Shepherd the same thing. The Alaskan Husky is a breed created for sled dog work and is still a work in development. The Siberian Husky is the true Husky. As with any breed, breed type ranges according to the dogs pedigree and not all purebreds fit their accepted breed standard.
It is also possible with a rescue that these dogs are not purebred and are "called" huskies since that is the predominate visible breed type displayed.
